Beautiful ones aren’t born; those are lies
Coz I see beauty in you each day with my eyes
***
It’s there in your strides when you walk
It’s there in your silky voice when you talk
***
They say it only last but for a while
But in 1000 years it will be there in your smile
***
In the way you look at things
In that tantalizing feeling that it brings
***
Your eyes sparkle more than the stars
It’s the lighting glance in them that I prefer
***
You got splendor; that of queens
In your presence other are mannequins
***
Even poets like me agree
We should study you for a degree
***
They may take this as an offense
But aesthetics without you is nonsense
***
Beauty pageants, miss worlds, miss what?
You are way more beyond that
***
You can’t be contained in titles like them
They’ll disagree but that’s their problem
***
Flowers blossom and then fades
You’ll reign for years and decades
***
Monalisa, cleopatra and Juliet are gone
Your legacy is brighter than which they shone
***
God gave you what they want
They try to copy you but they can’t
***
I hope as I do each day
To see you coming along my way
***
I gamble time for a chance
Just to glimpse your fleeting glance
***
Your grace spreads to infinity
I would stare at you for all eternity
***
I heard a philosopher say
You’re simple in a complex way
***
Even if I use million words in each line
You’re way far beyond this poetry of mine
***
These words aren’t meant to flatter you;
Nature itself can prove them true
***
It takes a second to write a rhyme
Alas! This one took me a lifetime
***
Twenty-one stanzas that I wrote
